However, as we all know, the pace of development is faster than ever, and we are all confronted with new difficulties every day in our employment and personal lives. Those who can manage change are the most fulfilled, while those who dread change will struggle to prosper. "It is not the strongest or the most clever who will survive," said Charles Darwin, "but those who can best handle change."
Our industry is no exception, and it is undergoing a significant transformation. With the growth of technology and greater competition brought on by globalization, basic connectivity services are becoming increasingly commoditized. New opportunities are knocking on our doors at the same time. These new prospects have the potential to propel Zajil to unprecedented global heights.
Zajil foresaw this transformation coming at the correct moment and began the process of transitioning more than three years ago. We put a lot of effort into reinventing ourselves and developing competence in new areas like connectivity services, cloud services, security services, and also enhancing our network infrastructure on a global scale.
Zajil Telecom was recently acquired by Kalaam Group to develop a $100 million technology solutions firm that would drive the GCC's digital revolution. Furthermore, the merged network will have a presence in 25 countries across the Middle East, Europe, the United States, and Asia, with 53 completely owned Points of Presence (PoPs) to offer all product lines, including capacity, DIA, managed solutions, SD-WAN, security, and much more.
