Vulnerability Scanning

Intrusion detection is a passive process, lying in wait to grab and identify intrusions as they occur. Vulnerability Scanning is a proactive process thorough which we can identify security holes in the network before they are discovered and exploited by external or internal forces. Through early detection of these vulnerabilities, corrective actions can be put into place to plug the holes. The frequency and scope of these scans are defined as part of the SLA .
